Verity is a company of one, rooted in the West and at home in the South.

I'm drawn to things that endure: old buildings, handwritten notes, well-made objects, regional traditions, and the stories people leave behind. I like things that take time.

Since earning a degree in Art History from UC Santa Barbara, I have wandered between design and preservation—from an historic preservation organization, to a contemporary art gallery, from furniture and pattern design, to books documenting remarkable people and places. I’ve worked on projects involving many things I love: farmers, ranchers, cowboys, artists, manners, and mountain lakes; helping to honor and preserve stories and methods of days gone by.

Born and raised in the great state of Idaho, I've called communities large and small, in different corners of the country– home, each deepening my appreciation for a strong sense of place. 

With my husband Bruce, a PGA Master Teaching Professional, I follow the sun and green grass and currently live in the beautiful, mysterious Lowcountry of South Carolina.
